Program Options

We have two distinct programs available to families.

Our 3-4 year old program meets on Tuesday and Thursday mornings.  The main focus of this program is to provide a space where children begin to learn about how to interact with others.  We emphasize social connections, use of language, and self-help skills. Students in this class do not take off-property field trips however, we make every attempt to bring experiences to them, as well as spend extra time engaging their senses in nature with nature walks, and other more scientific investigations.

Our 4-5 year old program meets on Monday, Wednesday, and Friday mornings.  This program aims to build off of the concepts gained in the 3-4 year old program by expanding on our social and academic skills. Curriculum in this class systematically introduces letters and math concepts in a developmentally appropriate and evidence-based progression.  Students do occasionally take field trips, as well as engage with experts enlisted to visit our school. The goal of this program is to have students ready for Kindergarten both socially and academically at the end of the school year.

Occasionally families opt to send their preschooler for an additional "red shirt" year.  In this case, our older students may be invited to participate in our program for 5 days.  If this is an option that you are interested in for your child, please feel free to reach out!

Of Note...

All programs require students to have weather appropriate gear for all seasons.  If access to appropriate gear is a burden for families, assistance is gladly provided.

All programs follow the MSAD 51 school schedule for weather cancellations and holidays with minor alterations.
