At the Learning Loft Preschool we believe that consistency is key.  Our preschool operates with 5 consistent teachers between our two programs.  Our teachers work on a consistent rotating schedule and substitute from within so that there will never be a new or unfamiliar face, should any teacher be out sick.  We believe that continuity of care is an important part of a child's sense of security in a program.  Without security and stability, a child cannot be free to learn.

Danielle Hunt

Director

Ms. Danielle comes to the Learning Loft with an extensive background in elementary education in both the regular and special education settings. She holds dual masters degrees in Teaching and Learning as well as Educational Psychology and continues to seek professional development opportunities to stay current in best practices for early childhood education. Danielle brings to the table a solid understanding of what it means to truly educate the whole child.  Her experiences teaching young learners in the public schools, has ignited a passion for helping our earliest learners get off to the best start possible.  Her strong belief in explicitly teaching social skills, as well as providing hands on experiences for children, has set the stage for the programming as it is today.  When she is not in the classroom, Ms. Danielle loves to read, craft, and cheer on her kids at their various sporting endeavors.

Sarah Brokofsky

Lead Teacher Academics

Ms. Sarah comes to us with 12 years of experience teaching and leading in the public and private school sector.  In addition to holding Masters degrees in Teaching & Learning, and Educational Leadership, she was the 2014 Cumberland County Teacher of the Year! Ms. Sarah believes that children learn best when given the space and time to explore the world around them in a safe and nurturing environment.  Providing children with opportunities to shine and show their true individuality allows for them to thrive socially, emotionally, and academically - and ultimately results in an honest love for learning.  Sarah's time away from the classroom is spent adventuring with her husband and young daughter.
